Flooding hits the River Colne
Extreme wet weather affecting much of Britain during November 2000 had some dramatic effects on the River Colne running through Colchester.

Colchester North's new look.
Before and after views of the area around North Station that underwent dramatic changes during 2002/3 with the construction of a new junction of the new Northern Approach Road. This constitutes phase 1 of the NAR scheme, phase 2 is intended to extend the road to link up directly with the nearby A12.
